The tires, they don’t like to grip so well.
Its takes almost no effort to break the grip on these large and grippy tires. For reference, they are 285, so wider than a hellcat rear tire. probably has something to do with 3070 lbs-ft of torque at the hub in 1st gear at 1000 rpm.

Raise your hand if Hammerhead’s voice doesn’t sound like you expected it to.

Eh, its kinda fun. The rear shaft is going back on tonight so I haven’t had enough time to be annoyed yet. It was a little scary the first time I had to put some real throttle down to pass and got re-educated on torque steer though.

2.8:1 1st gear, 4.56:1 final and 240 lbs-ft at 1000 rpm.

My peak torque output (at the hubs) is in 1st low range at my torque peak (275 lbs-ft) which works out to ~8750 lbs-ft. whats neat is that at just 1000 rpm I’m still making over 7600 lbs-ft...which makes tree removal quite effortless.

When I was doing something with a lift kit in my old dodge ramcharger I had the rear driveshaft out for a week or so. Scary, scary driving. I just locked it into 4WD and everything worked fine, but that thing was never meant to pull itself everywhere!
